PHOTO REPORT: Poetry Reading in DJCAD 2024

英国国内において、医学・アートデザインの分野でトップ10にランクインし続けるダンディー大学のアートスクールDuncan of Jordanstone College of Art & Designで、翌日から始まるArt and Philosophy Exhibitionの前夜祭、オープニングベントとして朗読LIVEが開催されました。20代の子たちが集まってくれるのだろうか、少なかったとしても仕方ない、腹を決めてドンとやろうと覚悟していたこの企画。蓋を開けてみれば、ご覧の通り、たくさん集まって熱心に詩を聴いてくれました。グラスゴーでの会は観客が大人たちだったので、笑ったり求めたりコミットしてくれたけれど、今回は大学生、彼らも相応に緊張していて、日英両言語による朗読、あいだに喋るフリーMCで全エネルギーを消耗！ゆえに最後のQ&Aの返答にサービス精神が行き届かなかった感が否めないけれど、それでもその場で感想をくれたりSNSでもメッセージを送ってくれたり、好感触でした。

This stage was an opening event of Art and Philosophy Exhibition at DJCAD of Dundee University. Whilst feeling good kind of tension from student audience, I read nine poems that I had written several places in Scotland in two languages English/Japanese. I’ll be pleased if they feel they had good time and want to listen more or again. Thank you Rowan Roscher for fixing the program as opening event! And I really appreciate you coming and listening to my poems.
